About Queen Creek, Arizona
Queen Creek is a town in Maricopa County and Pinal County in the state of Arizona. The 2010 census estimated that the population of Queen Creek, AZ in 2010 was 26,361. Queen Creek, Arizona was incorporated on September 5, 1989. The town of Queen Creek was named after the creek known as the Picket Post Creek, which was at the base of the Silver Queen Mine. When Silver Queen Mine opened for production, Picket Post Creek was changed to Queen Creek. The creek runs past the Silver Queen mine, through the town of Queen Creek.
